Terms of Use
Effective Date: March 3, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Jobsplore platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Jobsplore ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
2. Description of Service
Jobsplore is a cloud-based scheduling platform designed to assist youth organizations in planning and managing career exploration events. The Service is provided free of charge to all registered users. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features in the future; any such changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect access to core scheduling functionality.
3. Eligibility
To create an account and use the Service as an Event Planner or Administrator, you must be at least 14 years of age.
Students participating in events through the Service may be under 14 years of age. In such cases, the organization or event planner managing the event is solely responsible for obtaining all necessary parental or guardian consents and permissions required by applicable law. Jobsplore does not independently verify the age of student participants or collect parental consent on behalf of organizations.
4. User Accounts
To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration;
- Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account;
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account; and
- Not share your account credentials with any third party.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe to be in violation of these Terms.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Service in any manner that violates applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation;
- Use the Service to transmit unsolicited, commercial, or unauthorized communications;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service, other user accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Service;
- Introduce any viruses, malware, or other harmful code into the Service;
- Use the Service to collect, store, or process personal information of individuals without appropriate authorization;
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity; or
- Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits any other user's use or enjoyment of the Service.
6. Data Collection and Privacy
The Service collects limited personal information, including first name, last name, and email address. We do not collect payment information, date of birth, or other sensitive personal data.
Student data associated with an event is retained for 60 days following the conclusion of that event and is automatically purged thereafter. Event Planners may delete events and associated student data at any time.
Individuals may request deletion of their personal data at any time by contacting us or the Event Planner who organized their event. We will fulfill verified deletion requests within seven (7) business days. For further details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
7. Organization Responsibilities
Organizations using the Service to host events are responsible for:
- Ensuring that event participants and their guardians are informed of any data collection activities conducted through the Service;
- Obtaining all legally required consents and permissions before submitting participant data to the Service, including parental consent for participants under the age of 14;
- Complying with all applicable laws governing the collection and use of personal data of minors; and
- Ensuring that the Service is used solely for lawful, non-commercial youth program activities.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Jobsplore and its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any portion of the Service without our express prior written permission.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL JOBSPLORE, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE, THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED FIFTY UNITED STATES DOLLARS ($50.00).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Jobsplore and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service, including but not limited to any failure to obtain required parental consents for minor participants.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including without limitation ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the Effective Date above and, where feasible, by notifying registered account holders by email.
